Wow another classic Tim Burton-Johnny Depp masterpiece is at our doorstep ;). This seems like the perfect christmas activity..well essentially after all the family and presents stuff. Cant forget the presents ;).

Lazy Artist

So i have been thinking lately..what is my deal with my art. When i was in my teens i would make art all the time. I couldnt stop myself. My favorite piece was a metal lunchbox that i had "glued" pictures of Gwen stefani all over it with clear nail polish. It was soooo decked out. Anyways back to my point. Lately its as if i have the ideas and i have the supplies but i just never seem to be able to get off my ass and transfer my thoughts to 3d. I hate being lazy!!! Ugh! Like the other day i started this great art journal entry. I got past the gesso and the oil pastels and some ephemera and paint and now its like im almost afraid to get back into it. I have always had this thing with being afraid to finish my artwork or any stories i write. I have never really been able to figure out why i have this imparement. I need a cure for lazyness is what i need. Oooo i just got my token for mobile blogging. Woot gonna start throwing some thoughts here from my phone ;).

Well i've done it now lol. I actually had a qrtr pounder with cheese and a large fry at mcdonalds....GASP! lol ugh gluttony...i profess i will never eat that ever again...ugh but it felt so good. ;) I always try to eat as well as possible but sometimes we all need a little temptation. Last night i sketched out this design ive had in my head for a few days on some gesso board. I just have to say holy monkeys gesso boards are my absolute fave. They kick stretched canvas's ass anyday in my eyes! I cant wait to get started painting!! My muse has awoken after a very long sleep ;)

So lately i have been painting a ton! every night I will randomly go grab my moleskine or my watercolor paper pad and just go to town. Suziblu has taught me threw her videos about getting a lot of things out threw writting them on your journals and then painting and oil pasteling over them. This has majorly helped with things i havent been able to come to terms with (daddy issues lol). I cant thank her enough for re lighting my creative spark. Ive been dead to the art world for over a year and now i cant seem to stop myself. I keep making art...i cant seem to stop thinking about making art either! AHHHH the madness! ;)
